Life Simulacrum

A Python-based observational simulation of an artificial civilisation. The world begins with 100 AI people called Simulacrites on a procedurally generated tile map; from there everything emerges on its own, they grow up, form bonds, raise families, splinter into groups, claim territory, build, invent, found religions, and occasionally awaken to magic.

Each sim has a gender, age, traits, vitals (health/hunger/energy/warmth), adaptations, and a priority-based decision  AI that picks between fleeing flooding, eating, resting, sheltering, exploring, socialising, and reproducing. They  live ~80 in-game years across four life stages (baby → child → adult → elder)
